When its time to expand your family, finding the right maternity partner to manage your pregnancy is one of the first important decisions you’ll make for your new baby. The Center for Family Care, in partnership with Florida Hospital Women’s Health Fellowship, provides the highest level of comprehensive obstetric care for all stages of pregnancy.

Staffed by multilingual healthcare providers, maternity services are customized for each mother’s individual needs, taking her age and health considerations into account.

Key to all successful deliveries is receiving the right prenatal care as soon as pregnancy symptoms occur. Whether routine prenatal care is all that is needed, or the mother’s health conditions warrant high-risk monitoring and interventions, the Center for Family Care has the expertise to handle all levels of maternity care. Prenatal appointments include monitoring for conditions like gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, a shortened cervix and signs of a preterm labor. There are even protocols in place to minimize the difficulties often experienced during pregnancy by older moms.

When it’s time to deliver, there’s no better place than The Baby Place, Florida Hospital Orlando’s nationally renowned birthing center. This state-of-the-art delivery complex brings the latest advances in medical technology and the highest level of obstetric expertise together in a patient-centered, nurturing environment. Moms will work directly with their obstetricians to develop birthing plans that are right for their families—from deciding who will be in the labor and delivery room, to choosing where their babies will sleep while in the hospital.
