A non-surgical treatment applied to localized areas of pain in the ligaments or tendons.

Common injuries that are treated include arthritis, back and neck pain, sports injuries, joint aches, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, shoulder injuries, TMJ, plantar faciitis, and many others.

Prolotherapy is usually used when anti-inflammatory medications and surgery are not an option.

This treatment helps the body to naturally strengthen the injured ligaments or tendons. During the therapy, a special substance is injected into the injured area.  This causes an inflammatory response that is necessary to begin the healing process.  The inflammation increases the blood flow to the injured area , naturally stimulating the tissue to repair itself.

How Prolotherapy Works

During prolotherapy treatment, a precise injection of a mild irritant solution is applied directly on the torn ligament or stretched tendon, creating a mild or controlled injury that stimulates the body’s natural healing process. This controlled inflammation encourages the growth of new ligament or tendon fibers, resulting in a stronger, tighter tissue structure.

Prolotherapy costs $175 for existing patients of our practice and $225 for new patients. Please note, your overall visit costs may vary depending on the services and treatments you receive at your visit.
